Alternative: Vista Virtual Summer School

If you're looking for an alternative to RVS, Vista Virtual (VV) Summer School is an option. VV is not part of RVS, and students/parents must contact, register, and monitor progress themselves. Their course completion timelines are similar to RVS.

More details: Vista Virtual Summer School
Tentative registration opening: April 14 at 9:00 AM

Important:

  • To register, students must have completed the prerequisite course before applying.
  • Summer school grades from VV go directly onto your Detailed Academic Report (DAR) but will not appear in PowerSchool or MyBlueprint.

There are other summer school providers in Alberta as well. Feel free to research and register with any provider that suits your needs—SCHS permission is not required.
